學前教育質(zhì)量評估與追蹤、兒童發(fā)展測量工具研發(fā)與評估、學前教育政策評估與優(yōu)化研究。在加盟上海師范大學之前長期在美國從事學前教育政策研究，對欠發(fā)達地區(qū)如西佛吉尼亞州、和發(fā)達地區(qū)如新澤西州的學前教育質(zhì)量大型調(diào)查追蹤評價研究，參與撰寫多項美國州、聯(lián)邦政府學前教育政策咨政報告、對大規(guī)模調(diào)查研究、數(shù)據(jù)收集、分析、建模有豐富的理論和實踐經(jīng)驗。

參與美國研究項目PHLpreK Classroom Evaluations, City of Philadelphia；Modifying and Validating the Developmental Measure of the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Education, Inter-American Development Bank；Landscape Analysis of Indiana’s early learning programs, Early Learning Indiana；Creative Curriculum’s Ecosystem Evaluation, Teaching Strategies, LLC。

論文成果包括：“Thriving Beyond Resilience Despite Stress: A Psychometric Evaluation of the Teacher Stress Scale and the Teacher Thriving Scale.”、“Evidence of support for dual language learners in a study of bilingual staffing patterns using the Classroom Assessment of Supports for Emergent Bilingual Acquisition (CASEBA).”、 “The Response and reflection of US public early childhood education in COVID period: A case study of IP school in New Brunswick of New Jersey”等。
